Monogram Stickers Complete

I have just completed the monogram stickers that will be used to seal our petal enclosures. I put our monogram in a 2 inch square and printed it out on white card stock. I then placed it on a two and half inch square matting made from black card stock. I like the way they came out and I think they will look great on the invitation.

Table Cloths...Finally

Table clothes have been an absolute pain to find. First of all I've change my mind about my colors about a billion times. Every time my colors/theme changed that meant the types of linens had to change as well. I had settled on my colors being pink and yellow, but that's not working out so well for me. I am extremely picky and frugal. I have, however, learned during this planning process that sometimes I have to at least not be so picky. I obviously want my wedding and reception to be beautiful, but I'm not interested in paying (or my parents or anyone else for that matter) a ton of money for table linens that are most likely going to get ruined. The important thing is that Greg and I become Mr. & Mrs. and along with our guests have a wonderful time celebrating. I looked and looked for tables clothes at a decent price that I liked, but I just did not find anything. I came across this very pretty lace-like plastic overlay at Hobby Lobby the other day. So my mom and I went pick one up brought it to the party store and placed it over several different colors and silver looked best. Table cloth problem solved. I know most brides would freak about having plastic table cloths at their reception, but it is actually still really pretty and the price was downright cheap so if they get ruined it doesn't matter. I'm very happy that I am learning how to not be as picky and that I'm not wasting money on stuff that is not necessary.

Home Sweet Home

We went home hunting this weekend. We are looking for more than just a house. We want a home of our own. I would consider it to be very successful. We found a place that we both loved and it felt like home. The weird/neat thing was the table was set with the dishes Greg insisted that we absolutely had to get for our new home. We took it as a sign. Hopefully next month we'll be on our way to getting into our own home. Then a few months later we'll be home sweet home.

Possible Bouquet

Here is a possibility for my bouquet and maybe I would have my bridesmaids carry smaller versions of it...

7 Months to Go

7 more months and it will be our wedding day! Time is flying by. I can't wait, but I'm getting nervous about getting everything done on time. We are going look at homes this weekend and we finished our marriage prep classes this past weekend. The wedding is starting to feel so close. It's time to get to work on all of the little details. The list seems to be never ending, but the whole process is still fun and I'm enjoying it.

Invitations

I finished ordering just about everything I need for my invitations. Paper and More is great. Hopefully next week everything will be in and we can get to work on them. We began embossing a couple of weeks ago. Here is the result...

I ended up using a steel grey embossing powder. I think we've done about 15 or 20. We are going to be making about 200.

Now I'm trying to work on designing the sheet the wording will be on. I pretty much have it designed I just can't seem to get it to print right.

I also made monogram stickers to seal the petal enclosure. Here is what they look like...

Something Blue

I just purchased this beautiful butterfly hair pin from BelaKoiDesigns on Etsy. I've pretty much decided that I'm going to wear my hair parted to the right in a simple low bun with a single layer veil tucked in right above the bun. I was thinking of adding butterfly hair pins around the bun and came across this and it was just too perfect to pass up. I will use to hold back hair on the right side. It will also serve as my something blue. I can't for it to come in!
